Hi, I need to use vc elements in portfolio items. However even thoug I enabled it for portfolio, when I switch to vc backend editor and create my content with it, on the frontend it displays the vc shortcodes instead of the actual content of the portfolio page. Is it possible to fix this issue? Thanks and best regards.
Can you provide some following info privately so I can help you on this? I suppose to change this it will need FTP info so it can be overridden in the child theme.
Hello, I've noticed a new issue. The portfolio text preview now displays the vc shortcodes instead of actual text, as in the attached screen. Is there a way to prevent this?
There's just one little problem. When saving the article, I get the error in the attached screen if in the short description field is inserted some text containing the following symbol: ' So if the text in the field is something like "Extravergine di qualità ...", i get no problem, if it contains "L'extravergine di qualità ..." i get the error and the content is not saved. I tried other symbols such as : + , ? = ^ ) { [ - and there's no issue with them. As far as I can see it's just the ' symbol, it's a small thing but it's used rather frequently in my language.
Is this something that can be fixed? Thanks and best regards.

I added new field "Short description" to add the text which will display in the homepage.
So now, you can add the summary text for the portfolio to display in the homepage.

As the error said, can you try to contact your host provider about this because I tested this character on other site and it still work normally.
