Importing demo shouldn't been that much hectic. It works on other theme within few minutes.
So please let me know whats the issue with your theme.
About Product. We don't import perfume product because you will use your product. These products are demo, you will don't use them. If import more products, you will delete them to release memory.
You can add your product to category and show them on fontend.
If you still want to import perfume product, then we will import for you.

What wast the issue?
I still can't import the demo from theme options. The demo I installed from xml file doesn't contain perfume home page.
Please check the screenshot. And let me know what do to get that page layout and fix all the issues.
