I have recently installed Unero onto a magento 2.1.7 build site. The site was a fresh install and had a simple categories structure in place with around 77 products put on through magento. Unero was installed as per your guide and with out any errors , however since installing Unero, I am unable to access the catagories, either on the front-end and backend. They are not visible in the "catagories" area or via the product entry.
The catagories are still active if you use a direct link to them via the front end e.g.

If I upgrade my backend to the newest magento, as I would like the categories cover pages , do you see any problems with that?( given the slight issues I have had?) is there any particular way I should /need to do it ? Thank you
Our theme supported magento 2.2. But if your site is woking fine with magento 2.1, you should not upgrade to 2.2, because magento 2.2 is a new version and will need some time to improve while magento 2.1 has been a stable version of magento.
Thanks for updating information, I have tried to check, also tried to switch Luma theme in database but the problem still persist, I think that the best way is reinstall magento and our theme, we have never gotten this error before, I also don't know what did you modify after this error appear. You should reinstall, so it will good for your site
Thanks for your comment, I think that you should reinstall on a dev site, with fresh magento then install our theme, I think that the problem will be not able to back if you do correctly. I still need to reinstall magento then install theme on it.

Have you updated our theme to newest version yet? Please try to update to newest version, then go to admin CATALOG -> Categries to see if you see "Landing" option.
Thanks for your reply ...we are using magento 2.2.2 and your theme version 1.1.4 but i cant see that option on my backend i am hestiant to update to 1.1.5 unless we really need to but i believe this function was added in 1.1.0 anyway ?
5) are there commands when i updated that i am meant to run as the MGS builder etc seems exactly the same? and my site seems alot slower
Answer: You only need to run the commands that we recommand in readme.txt file in patches
6) products that were loaded and working have since disappeared from the front end , this is after adding a few more products and re-indexing, i have re-indexed and checked all the settings but random products have just disappeared on the front end but remain on the backend fine? is this a theme issue?
Answer: I don't see any product blocks on the homepage, please try to create some product blocks on the homepage
7) also the Logo doesn't shrink any more when going to sticky menu?
Answer: When I stick the meun, the logo is showing quite well, I don't see any problem, take a look

as you can see if you click the filter it grays the screen and no filter doesn't turn up , if you turn the category to a 2 column with left bar then the filter still doesn't show and the filter button is hidden. screenshot attached
