To set up Sale label, you can config in admin -> MGS -> MGS Theme Settings v1.1.2 -> Catalog (General Setting of Category Page and Catalog Search Page).
You can enter the name of Sale label and enable Display "Sale" label with Discount percent to Yes.
About New label, you also enter the name of label. Then go to admin -> Catalog -> Products -> Choose a product -> Set Product as New From
- The filter does not work. I set up a yes/no attribute 'featured'. I tried website and store_view scopes. Products that do not have the attribute set (featured = null) show up. I then tried to specifically set the attribute to 'no' for all products. They still show up. - I did refresh all the cache.
Issue with New Label - The label overlay does not show up.
This is caused due to the lack of missing some code. I will add these code for you.
2. The product by attribute block.
I have investigated your problems for some days and after checking it carefully, I see that the code was not the code. I think something went wrong with the products. Would you mind giving your SSH information to make it easier for me to run some commands?

I am so sorry for this late reply. I have to say that I had some really bad health problems that I had to stop my work for some weeks. My colleague are too busy to take over my work that they may miss your ticket.
However I am back now and I have some update for your problems:
1. The featured attribute
When I go to your admin and check the feature attribute, it seems that this feature has been removed. I didn't do that, if you did this, please tell me.
Because when I tried to add a block with featured products, it can't filter whether the product has featured attribute or not.
2. The new product
I can't see any product is set to be New anymore. Please kindly help me to set these product as New again.

There are 7 products set BOTH to 'featured' AND to 'new' as of now that are enabled and visible on the site.
It's all PETG products
1. The NEW block displays the correct products (yay), but sill doe not display the "new" overlay
2. The BY ATTRIBUTE block displays like a 100 products even though only 7 should be visible. I have switched all products in the backend to featured=no and verified via csv export for all store views (even though the attribute is global).

This feature is visible in the Supro demo screenshots, and there's a mention in the backend, but I see no guide anywhere.
