The problem may comes from elastichsearch or your configuration
Could you please give us your site info ( admin url, admin account and ftp/ssh access detail )? So we can specify whether or not your issue is a theme bug. If it is, we may fix it for you. We will update you as soon as possible
We have checked, and the configurable product is working fine. Just edit the child product of the configurable product, make it visible in catalog,search then it will appear on frontend.
this can't be a solution for an e-commerce. The reason to use configurable product is to avoid showing thousands of product duplicates in the categories, in fact Magento sets configurable's children products as Not visible individually.
Furthermore if you make simple products with visibility Catalog, Search then when you search a product Magento will show you all the configurations as results and obviously this is totally wrong.
I need to see in the Deals block the configurable products.
Deals block should work like New Products block or Products By Attribute block, so showing the configurable product and not its simples....
Please fix this thing because the logic to make simple products visible is not bearable or correct for any e-commerce in reality.
is it possible for your devs team implement the use of configurable products in deals block maybe with a customization?
In case yes, could you estimate a quote?
We'd like to have a new DATE TIME ATTRIBUTE in the configurable products and the Deals block will show the products with the countdown associated to the new attribute.

I set the Deals Block up in my homepage and I did some tests with some simple products and they correctly appeared in my homepage.
But today I created some configurations for those products and now the Deals Block return the message "There are no deals matching the selection."
This probably because now the products have become Configurable and their children products are obviously "Not visible individually".
Could you please tell me how to solve the problem?

Actually, magento could not set configurable product for deals. If you want set it, you should set it like we said above.
