My store's currency is in CAD but most of my visitors are from the US so I'd like my default currency to be USD. I've set it to be USD in my theme settings but it still defaults to CAD. I've attached a screenshot showing my settings. Please let me know how I can fix this, thank you!
Hi thank you! I notice now though there's an issue when I switch between variants of a product. When I select a variant (eg. size small), the price updates to the incorrect price. I've attached a video showing this. In this case, the price of $75.60 CAD is the correct price but it switches to a different, incorrect price. This is only happening when I set the default currency to be USD on my store page. For now, I've switched my default currency back to CAD since this is a really bad bug for customers to see, but I would really like to be able to keep the default currency as USD. Please let me know if this can be fixed!
But for some reason I cannot download your video. And I cannot replicate the bug myself. So If possible could you upload the video on drive so that I can check it
I've temporarily fixed the bug by setting my default currency to CAD, so that is why you're not able to replicate the bug. The bug only appears when I change my default currency. I'd ideally like to keep my store's default currency set to USD.
Yes it seems to be fixed now, thank you very much! However I've now noticed that when scrolling through collections of products, when I hit "Load More", the currency switches back to CAD for the newly loaded products. I've attached a video showing this. You can see in the video, the first few products as I'm scrolling are in USD, then when I click load more, the newly loaded products switch back to CAD. Hope you can help with this!
Yes it looks good now thank you! I've also noticed in the pop-up that appears once someone adds something to the cart, it shows the Canadian dollar price, however it says it's in USD. I've attached a screenshot showing this. In this example, the correct price is $95 CAD or $76.64 USD, however it's showing that it's $95 USD. It should instead say $76.64 USD. Let me know if you can fix this!
