"Someone purchased" popup

    This is totally knit-picking, but:

    1. the popup that shows in the corner when someone purchases a product is slightly distorting the product image; it is stretching it horizontally. Can we ensure the product images aren't distorted? I just want it more polished.
    2. Also, I can't quite figure out the two timing options. I think I currently have it showing in the corner for 1 minute and if someone tries to hide it, it pops up again in another 15 seconds. Can we shut this thing off during the checkout process? I don't want to distract the shopper during checkout.
    3. Can we state what city and state their in? (i.e. "someone in Austin, TX", "someone in Bronx, NY") Since commas are between the city/state, that could be an issue the way it's currently set up, right?

    Thanks.

    Hi Toneee,

    About your issues,

    1. You can edit some code. Before edit code, you should back up your theme.

    - From Admin - Online Store - Themes - Actions - Edit code

    - Open file Assets/gp-sale-popup.liquid

    - You can see a piece of code in this screenshot above. Please remove it.

    - Click Save to save the updates.

    2. Can you invite us to be your staff via email: [email protected], please?

    3. Of course, you can do it. But we think we should edit some code to update it.

    Best regards,

    Shopify Team

    Hi Toonee,

Sorry for the late reply. We just had a 4 days long holiday (Liberation Day and International Workers’ Day).

    1) I haven't see you fix so I have change it for you
    2) I have add a line of code in layout/theme.liquid file line 270 and 276 to disable the sale popup in checkout page.
    3) I have change the code so that now it will split base on semi colon not comma anymore so you need to write: "someone in Austin, TX" ; "someone in Bronx, NY"

    Thank you, it looks amazing!

For some reason, the link to the actual product on the popup is not clickable, although it looks like it is. Using Chrome/Windows 10. Maybe that should toggle in a setting, because it may get annoying if someone was checking out a product page and the popup accidentally redirected them while shopping. Either way, just letting you know that the product link on the popup doesn't actually work.
