hi , yes . I want to update my main theme to 0.2 , but I thought to make it on a backup version that I made , however if you prefer on the live theme then is ok , worst case scenario I switch to the back up I’d sth went wrong , but yes , I want to update my Lusion theme to 0.2 . Thanks !
We checked it and realized that we can't change the Lusion 1.0 -> Lusion 2.0.
Because the structure of Lusion 1.0 is different from Lusion 2.0. Overwise, Lusion 2.0 now has 8 homepages, that mean there aren't some section that you use.
Example: We changed template 404 for you.
First, we need to delete file Templates/404.liquid and add file Templates/404.json
Next, we need to add the file Section main-404.json for you.
After that, we add file Assets/section-gp-404-page.css get style of template 404
It still has simple JS for this template.
But if other templates will change, the files are uploaded more. So we suggest you update package Lusion 2.0 and customize it again or you can still use your theme.
I didn't understand , first the 0.2 is defined to be an update for 0.1 so how an update can't be compatible to the theme it was meant to update ? second I didn't understand what is" update package Lusion 2.0" that you suggest - do I need to purchase the theme again in 0.2 ?

Shopify 2.0 is the update for Shopify 1.0 but the structure of the theme is rewritten.
You don't need to purchase the theme again, just download the latest version of Lusion on Themeforest.
When you unzip the package, you'll see files Lusion-2.0.zip(Shopify 2.0) and Lusion 1.1.2(Shopify 1.0 - just fix some bug of theme), upload them, and try it on.
Actually, Lusion 2.0 now has 8 homepages. It means some sections that you use are unavaiable.

hi , before I first contacted you I tried to install the update . I downloaded the zip file and tried to install it . when I went by the instructions and I pasted the new code in the theme , I got an error message , that's why I contacted you in the first place, because I tried doing all that and didn't succeed . I asked to know why I have the error message and how can be fixed and maybe you can update for me to be on the safe side ,
Actually, we can update your theme to version 1.1.2 for you(still Shopify 1.0) but Lusion 2.0 is different from Lusion 1.1.2(you need to set it up again).
