I'd like to ask if it's possible to make the thumbnails of the product images rectangular with an 1:1 aspect ratio? We have quite a few product images so I'd rather try and modify the code than having to resize all of the images. This happens in the GPS Products Widget and also on the catalogue pages.
Is it possible to have them rectangular?
PS: I didn't include the URL only because the theme is not yet active, I'm working on it in the background while I have the old design working. However, I have uploaded what it looks now and what I would like it to look like so you get a better idea.
So basically Amely is my new theme and it has rectangular pictures of the catalogue. What I would like to see are square pictures (1:1 ratio) instead of rectangle ones.

We think we only edit the images as you did and we recommend that you should upload the image with transparent background.
Do you want to edit the product images rectangular with a 1:1 aspect ratio? We'll add some style to it.
Is that what you mean? If not, please guide us more.
